Edward Murnane

(B. Eng, H. Dip Eng, CEng, MIEI, PMP)

Edward Murnane graduated from UL (B.Eng), and UCC (H.Dip Eng) in 1995. He subsequently spent 2 years in Industry before establishing Procad Engineering in Limerick in 1996. Over the past twenty years he has achieved both strategic & operational development of Procad Engineering whilst developing an innovative & professional team as well as a broad satisfied client base. This time has also involved the management of a broad range of projects for various clients such as TFX Medical, Dew Valley Foods, Slane Castle Irish Whiskey, Shannon Development Shannon Foynes Port Company, SAFC Pharma & others. He has developed a considerable and extensive knowledge of the Regulated Environment during this time. Ed is a Chartered Engineer and Project Management Professional (PMP).

Eamonn O'Connell

A Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland, Eamonn joined our team over 8 years ago, after a number of years’ experience as a site developer. As an Associate Director, Eamonn is a Structural Engineer and leads the Buildings Group within Procad Engineering and is involved in working in conjunction with our customers and service providers on the planning (including EIS), design & construction, commissioning and qualification of a wide range of projects in sectors including Food & Beverage, Industrial, and Commercial & Educational.

Ray Dowling

Having graduated in 1998 Ray has over 16 years of Industry experience particularly in the food and beverage and educational sectors, With a solid knowledge of industry regulations and requirements, Ray has worked across a diverse number of projects from the early stages of the project life cycle, working with the customer to identify their key project objectives right through to the design and construction of fit for purpose solutions. Building Design, Procurement of Planning, Fire & DAC Certificates and Liaison with Local Authorities are all part of Ray’s role.

Jerry Martin


Jerry Martin has worked with Procad Engineering since 2007 and is a core member of the Buildings Group. He has worked on a range of Industrial & Commercial projects where his responsibilities have included preparing & procuring Planning, Fire Safety & Disability Access Certificates, liaison with Local Authorities, creating & issuing tender documentation, E-Tender advertising, review budgets/ BoQ’s, regular client/ contractor updates, administrative work etc. He has completed projects in a wide range of industry sectors and has attained an in-depth knowledge of the regulated industry and associated standards. Jerry is also very experienced in the area of Health & Safety regulations & requirements and has utilised his qualifications gained through his NISO course to act as Project Supervisor Design Process {PSDP} on a number of projects from initial design through to client handover.

Tim King

A Quantity Surveyor with over 20 years industry experience gained in several roles. Tim began his career as a Junior Assistant with Campbell Martin Associates, Glasgow from 1993 to 1994. He then moved to the position of Junior Assistant with Brendan F. Bermingham & Associates in 1994. Since then he has developed within the company and has been the principal of Bermingham King & Associates since 2007. Tim is also lecturing in Procurement and Contracting at the University of Limerick since 2007. Tim is vastly experienced in all aspects of Quantity Surveying including various forms of tender documentation, cost control and reporting, cash flow charts, final accounts etc.

Kevin Frost


As a director of Procad Engineering, Kevin leads the Mechanical, Electrical and Process (MEP) Group within the organisation. Having joined us over 16 years ago after spending a number of years working with Intel, Kevin has in depth experience working on a number of projects within the food and beverage, pharmaceutical and educational sectors including customers such as Brown Forman (Slane Distillery) Dew Valley Foods, SAFC and Shannon Development. He applies a lean design approach to a range of process and utilities design and delivery including dry goods & milling, brewing & fermentation, distilling, blending, filling, bottling, packaging, CIP, ATEX Assessments, HAZOP Analysis & others.

Rob Meade


Having joined us over 2 years ago, Rob has extensive experience in the area of electrical and mechanical design. Rob works closely with our customers to gain a key understanding of their design requirements and managing the project implementation including utilities generation and distribution design (steam plant, cooling, compressed air etc), energy assessments and assignments and engaging with specialist suppliers as required bringing the project to completion.

John Coyne


John joined Procad just over 18 months ago, with a Level 8 Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering Design, John has been involved in the design and planning of our key process design projects. Working on both green field projects as well as both mechanical and electrical refurbishments, John has an in depth experience in BIM management processes, building file management structures to produce clash detection reports and 3D collision models across all disciplines, as well as ensuring adherence to client standards. His experience covers a wide range of sectors including food, beverage and education.

Sasa Radojicic

As the most recent member to join our MEP group, Sasa has joined us from Roche Pharmaceuticals where he worked for a number of years as a Plant Support Engineer. Sasa has over 15 years’ industry experience within the Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage & MedTech industries working in areas such as design, commissioning, and qualification & troubleshooting of utilities and building services. With a Masters in Mechanical Engineering, Sasa has also worked in both industrial and public infrastructure schemes across a wide range of markets including, Serbia, UK and Russia.

Roy Court


Having worked in the Scotch whiskey industry and after spending many years working with John Jameson & Son’s, Roy set up his own consultancy firm specialising in the production of whiskey, gin, and other spirits and new product development. With the distillery industry experiencing rapid growth within Ireland over the last number of years, Roy and his team have worked closely with Procad Engineering to provide the expertise and experience in the development and expansion of a wide number of distilleries across the Irish market.

John White


With a wealth of experience, the last 16 years of which have been specialising in the meat and food industries, John’s area of expertise has been in the development of processes with emphasis on Continuous Improvements, Project Management and Process Control. John provides Specialist Technical Support Services to the Meat, Foods and FMCG Industries and for a number of years has worked in conjunction with Procad Engineering on projects which have a particular focus on the drafting and design of production line layouts and management of line rationalisation and reconfiguration.
